Hello,
I'm Bas, 48 years young and have had Amazonian tanks since I was 12.
For around 10 years I was not able to hold any aquaria, but recently started a 'new' one again.
It's a 2nd hand tank, but it's measurements are 2.50 x 60 x 70 cm so it's roughly 1200liters.
Also I have a few quarantine and breeding tanks.
My interests go to L-numbers and Apistogrammae.
At this moment I own a breeding group of 12 x L-201, 12 x L-129 and a couple of L-128 and also a couple of Apistogramma cacatuoides (double red).
The installation of my show-aquarium is not finished yet, so still in a stage of progress. I'm gonna make it a Amazone-tank again, with Discus, 2 sorts of small bass species (probably the A-viejita and Mikrogeophagus ramirezi), Corydoras sterbai and 2 sorts of school-fish. All technique is state of the art and up to date.
Also I'm a fanatical hobbyist when it comes to building and/or creating things and tend to build everything I possibly can myself.
It is my attention to start breeding L-numbers, Apistogrammae and Mikrogeophagus again since I did that when I was younger and liked it.
