Hi everyone.
Just found this forum, after long time searching for an active dwarf forum.
I have had aquariums for a couple of years, but I Just mowed and had shut down the ones I had running.
My plan is to start a small (16 gallon/ 63 liters). With only a pair of apistos and maybe an ancistrus lorichadae.
I am writing because in would like input on which apistos to buy.
I an fairly experienced, have kept cacatoides and rams.
The Situation in Denmark.
There is a (in my opinion) fine selection of apistos, ranging i prince from approx. 10 - 50 usd a pair. (50 til 300 kroner)
There are apistogramma -
Borelli
Cacatoides
Agasizzi
Gibbiceps
Hoignei
Macmasteri
Nijsseni
Retuculsa
steindachneri
trifasciata
biateniata
cruzi
gephyra
hongsloi
juriensis
linkei
pandurini
viejita
and
Taenicara candidi
Microgeophagus ramirezi
At the moment in am leaning towards Nijsseni, but I honestly do not know anything about most of them and would like to know if I am overlooking the an obvious choise.
