Hmm... Without any information it's almost impossible to help.
Please provide some info:
Tank size, stocking, maintenance, filtration, feeding, water parameters (numbers please, not just "fine")
How long have you had the fish? Added anything lifestock/plants recently?
Also a picture of the whole tank and some more of the fish, please.

Size: 35 gallon
Fish: 1 aposto male and 2 females, peacock gudeon 1 male and females, albino neon tetras, pencil fish, rummy nose tetras, Cory catfish, and 2 bristle nose plecos male and female
Maintenance: was doing a 30%-50% water change biweekly depending on our parameters but recently switched to weekly to fight a bit of algae covering some of our plants
Filtration: it’s a water box 35g all in one so lots of sponge/bio media
Water parameters: 0ppm ammonia 0ppm nitrite 10ppm nitrate
The apistos are the newest addition to tank and everything else has been in there for months. We’ve recently added a few cichlids caves from a pet store near us to add a few hiding places for the fish but nothing else has changed.

What are the dimensions of the tank? Volume is a useless info.

No offence, you're quite overstocked.

2 bristle nose plecos male and female

How big are those? It could very well be the result of competition between the plecos and Apistogramma for a cave. It's possible the plecos are spawning at the moment.

Three cave dwelling species in a tank is a recipe for trouble.
