Hello hope all is well. I got delivered today a pair of fire reds but I think they might be both females. Please take a look and tell me if one of these are a male or not. Thank you in advance.

I see that you got no answers. This is probably due to 2 things. First, the photos are too poor to say anything. Second, domestic color strains can be problematic to sex.

Yeah, it’s an iPhone 8 and I’m kind of an old timer but I really gotta get a new phone. The picture quality is very poor. They came from Aquahuna I went with them for the price and you get what you pay for,
going back to eBay to Apistoship

aqhuna are good for cheap schoolers where quality doesn't matter - the rasbora and barbs (cherry) i purchase from them live a long time but even in those fishes i see some defects likely due to too much inbreeding or lack of pruning.

For apisto - for domestic aquaticclarity isn't bad as well as some of the hobbists - ebay - depends on the seller there are some good and some bad sellers.

The problem with domestic is the source of the fishes - you are better off with a hobbist then a store (aquaticclarity is not a hobbist so he will have the same issues with domestics BUT he does label the source of his fishes).

I saw some really nice a. Baenschi for sale by a hobbist the other day. They won't have the super fancy colours of some domestic agasizzi but they are nice fishes.

Yes I have heard good things about Aquaclarity but some members here were saying they stay away from fish from the Czech Republic which Aquahuna gets his from there also. This guy Apistoship from eBays fish are tank raised and domestically. Bred
