Female and Flaring

Yes. Females can be very territorial with other females (or their reflection). With that said, the flaring from the females is usually more face on/open mouth/gill flaring in my experience

Seems like that type of flaring was what mine was doing. Originally thought it might be a bland male, but maybe im wrong now
