I’d be grateful if anyone could let me know what this one is. It’s about 1.25 inches and still juvenile. Ai says it’s probably a female a. Baenschi inka…..but it’s in with a pair of panduro who terrorize it so it may have changed its look to escape some punishment.
I’ll probably have to wait for it to mature but just wondered if anyone had an idea what it may be.

I'm afraid you will need to wait until it's older. It looks like many juvenile apistos to me. It doesn't appear to have a lateral spot so it might be a regani-lineage species - one of hundreds in the regani-, alacrina-, or macmasteri-groups.

It's for sure not A. baenschi or A. panduro. In the first picture I see a dark patch in the lower rear part of the dorsal fin which is typical for A. (cf.) norberti.

In addition, in the second picture I believe to see a very faint lateral spot that expands above the lateral band. If so, this would also be in line with the assumption that it's A. (cf.) norberti.

Hello Martin, though I am not sure if I am adressing the right person, I still hope I am. I got 2 trios of Apistogramma psammophila from you some time ago. I was lucky to breed them, too, but, unfortunately, I got mainly males, 15, and only 2 females. That's why today, I have only three males left.
Kind regards, Michael (Hagen-Hohenlimburg)
He recalled that General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm had praised these achievements, noting that institutions are no longer the main bottleneck to development, with challenges now lying in implementation.
Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.
