Features of the complexes

hi everybody

Does anyone know where can I find the features of every complex and subcomplex of the apistogramma gender?

I´ve been reading a bit, how to diferenciate between cacatuoides subcomplex and nijsseni sub complex for example, but I would like to find more.

I´m reading the features of the 5 complex that appear in the page of davis soares. I would like to read about them, this page is very interesting, are there more pages related to apistogrammas gender like this one?

Mike Wise has an excellent breakdown of the groups and complexes of the genus. You can find it in the ASG (Apistogramma Study Group) website.

Apistogramma species complexes

Dear Poe,

The genus (not gender, that's something else) Apistogramma has been divided into species groups. Within the individual groups are species complexes. In my opinion, Neil is right on in suggesting that you contact Mike Wise. Mike is the American Apisto expert. He and Dave Soares are both officers of the Apistogramma Study Group (ASG) the website for which is Apisto.com.

If you read German, there is a new(er) book available that clearly defines the species groups and their respective complexes. As far as I know, this book has not been printed in any other language. "Sprechen Sie Deutsch, bitte?"
