ID help - Panduro male?

Hello,

I tried to look through old posts and links within them to see if I could answer myself but I’d like to just directly tap the opinions of those much more knowledgeable than me.

I saw these apistos at a LFS, which the employee, after checking, told me were a. Panduro.

I’m curious if you all think this is correct or maybe some other member of the nijsseni group?

Even more than that I’m curious if any of these appear to be males, either of a. Panduro or some other species. Based on what (I think) I’ve been able to gather most appear to clearly be females but I’m particularly wondering about the one pictured that appears to have a little bit different markings and more yellow/less black coloring.

It's A. nijsseni. The males are the more coloful ones without large black blotches on the side of the body and with smaller caudal spots. A male can be seen in the first four pictures.
