EMERGENCY APISTO EATEN CORY

My apisto has eaten a pygmy cory which is now stuck in his throat do I intervene? I know corys have sharp spines in their dorsal fins...

I hate to say it, but there is nothing you can do except hope the apisto can work itself out on its own. Otherwise you ave 2 dead fish. Sorry.

What happened with this? I had a female barlowi that did this but she worked it free in the end.

Good news, I moved him to his own tank to monitor him and as of last night he's either spat it out or eaten it. I'm now keeping an eye on him and keeping him alone until I decide what I'm doing. Thanks for your replies.
