dithers and Ram eggs

Just a quick question. Is it ok to have dithers like guppies and danios (4 guppies and 3 danios to be precise) if you want to get Rams fry to live?

Really need help as only yesterday my Rams layed eggs, next moring... gone. My corys looked awfully guilty. So I'll be putting them in the mini cory and baby guppy tank.

I would think that danios would be too active & distracting for Rams. Most people don't use dither fish with Rams.

I agree with Mike on that one. Rams seem to do better without dithers of any kind. Depending on the size of the tank, you should think about possibly just a group of rams or if you choose to just have a pair, then leave them as just that. I've always done fine with rams in a group or just a pair in a tank with a layer of fine sand. good luck

Thanks, hopefully my Rams will breed in about 2-3 weeks. i would move the guppies but I don't really have any space in the 60L, and the tank they're in is 70L, so I think it'll be alright.
