Hi,

I tossed some A. bitaeniata and A. sp Rio Mamore together in a tank and now I can't tell the difference between the female. How do I tell them apart?

Thanks!

A. bita has two horizontal dark bands across the body,
A. sp. Mamore has only one. The caudal fin of some A. bita
female fish, has some dotted patterns while it never
appears in Mamore's female. Finally, the anal fin of the A. bita
female is yellow/orange no matter whether the body is grey or
yellow.
