Cruzi... I think not.

Yet again another fish labelled as Cruzi but im almost positive it is not.
Would be very surprised if it was anyway.
German bred fish from the Eunotus complex i think but which one im not so sure.
Pictures not too good for IDing purposes.

Well, Mark, it certainly is not A. cruzi. The well developed caudal fin stripes just aren't found on cruzi-like fish. It certainly looks like a eunotus-like fish, but I would need to see photos of the females to be more certain. My guess, based on the caudal fin pattern and the shape of the caudal spot, I would say that it probably is A. cf. eunotus Schwanzstreifen/Tail-stripes (A77). A friend of mine once collected the species in the lower Río Ucayali of Peru.
