Cross-breeding between various Apistogramma species

Hi all,
I'm new to Apistogramma and would like to put more species in one tank. At the moment, I have 3 A. cacatuoides and I'm planning to buy a trio of A. agassizii.
Is there any danger of crossbreeding between these two species or between various species of Apistogramma generally?

Pazi,

A. cacatuoides & A. agassizii come from 2 different lineages in the genus. It is very unlikely that they can cross. Some closely related species can cross.

Don't underestimate the amount of aggresion you will see between the males. I don't have any experience with multiple apistos, but I'm guessing a 55g would be the absolute minimum you could put multiple apisto males in. Hopefully someone more knowledgable will speak up on that.
