Compatible?

I have a couple of borelliis with some community fish and a blue ram. My apistos are both males so the bigger one is chasing the other around half of the time in my 4-footer (220L/55G). I've only had them for a few days...should I be looking into taking out the other one?

Also, I've got a power blue dwarf gourami in a tank that I have to clear-up. Would he be compatible in my 4-footer?

If the larger apisto is consistantly singlinh out the other apisto to pick on, then you need to find a way to break teh line of sight between the two. Add hiding spots, driftwood, denase areas of plants or anything that the smaller fish can hide in or behind. Apistos will generally not go looking for afight, and will chase only when the rival is in view.

If the larger apisto chases all the other fish, adding hiding places will help, but adding more fish will help more. This dilutes his agggression. The gouramie is compatible, but he is likely to get chased also.
