Besides M. ramirezi, what other dwarfs can be found in Columbia? I'm too lazy to look for it and hope somebody knows a few off the top of their head 8O
I got motivated and searched fishbase for Columbian fish...wow! Didn't realize that so many corys and cichlids were native to there. Dwarfs like Apisto. agassizii (Where isn't this fish found?!?!), bitaeniata, cacatuoides, cruzi, hongsloi, iniridae, Apistogrammoides, Biotoecus, Crenicara, D. filamentosa. Anyone know of others that might not be listed on fishbase? Seems there is more to Columbia than Rams and Cocoa plants...
I once did a search for all Of Colombia hobby traded fish(it's an "o" not a "u" BTW). They list was around 7 pages. My favorite Tetra (I honestly did not know the name at the time) IS the Colombian Red fin. Like Little Pirahnas. Viejitas also come out of Colombian.
If you are a big coffee nut, like me (no pun intended  ). Try to find some we call "tinto". Our version of esspresso. There are Vendors on the street that sell shots of it via a Thermos. I don't know of a supermarket brand though.
