Can anyone ID what 'type' of Aggie this male is?

I've got this male Agassizi in a tank with a 'wild' female. Wonder what color 'morph' he is?
Also, he was 'agressive' when the female was first added, but after she started hanging out in the spawning cave, she's become more agressive, and when I took the picture, he was 'hiding' from her behind the thermometer.

Thanks
Markus

You appear to have a domestic red form of A. agassizii. When your wild female & this male breed, you could get almost anything from the cross. Just don't expect to get a lot of red aggies. In the wild red aggies appear in many populations, just not many of them. Domestic red aggies have been line bred for so long that most offspring will show red tails on the male. The females look the same as other aggie form except when in brood dress. Then they appear to be slightly deeper yellow-orange in color.
