Okay, so it appears I have two females as I now have fry on both ends of the tank. I think I have 4 males and two females. The two other males are caught in the cross fire and hiding in the middle of the tank. Thank goodness I have a lot of plants and driftwood.
My question, I have three other males in my main display tank. It already has three cacatu males in it, but no females. Can I put these two in there, or will it be world war III? It is a 75G.
It should be possible IF you rearrange the tank decor to remove all old territorial boundaries and provide enough territories for all 5 males. Otherwise, get rid of your excess fish.
The wisest of the Wise answers in probably the most obvious one, get rid of them. I will check and see if the LFS was able to sell the single males I gave them. The other fish stores do not take in fish for sell or credit. Real bummer......
