About 3 years ago I bought this German Blue Ram (from Glaser) at Aquapets together with a female who passed away after a couple of spawn.
For years I was looking for a top quality female GBR. Luckily I found two females at Manly aquarium in December last year.
After a few days they were both ready. Full of eggs.
The eggs have not been fertilised properly. Notice the greyish colour of eggs. I think the aeration was too fast.
I changed 50% of the water and switched the females on 15 January 2013.
Six days later I have suffered an other setback. The eggs disappeared again.
I have switched the females once more and see what happened:
For tree days they were fanning and cleaning the eggs.
Parameters: PH 6.0-6.4, TDS:60ppm, Temp.:23-28 deg.
End of story.
I hope you have njpyed it.
