at my lfs today i noticed what are undoubtedly apistogramma of some sort. It was labeled as borelli but the body looked more like cacatuoides. the fish were .5 to .75" and there was some blue and yellow colors on dorsal and anal fins and mostly silver every where else there was a horizontal black line from back of eye to tail and a vertical line through the eye down to the chin. I couldn't find a picture of a juv. borelli...is the above description accurate of a juv. borelli?

thanks for any help,

jb-ny

The above description could match most apisto species. It would be difficult to make a positive ID at the size that they are now (photos might help). Sorry.
