Blue Ram Fry with Black tail

Hi folks,
I have a Blue Ram fry a little over 1/2 inch long that is black starting at and includeing the anal fin to the caudal fin. Has anyone ever seen anything like that before?

I've only seen black showing up in the tail fin and anaul fins in wild stock. If one of the parents are from wild stock F1 then your getting some of the wild trates in your fry.
Now I've had F2 rams show this trate to but they gowed out of it.

It is possible that the tail of the fish has been damaged in some way & the nerves in the area are not working properly. Just a guess.

i'd second mikes suggestion of nerve damage/irritation causing a well demarcated localised black area
it will sometimes resolve if just temporary nerve irritation
