I usually do a 10 at first and eventually place the fry into a 30 gallon. However all the tanks have a heater at around 80, a sponge filter and some cover in the form of plants and/or flower pots. Although the fry usually go everywhere in the tank and do not usually need the cover (safety in numbers I suppose). They are fed microworms for the first few days until they are large enough for baby brine shrimp. Eventually once the fry are about 1/2" they are put on to daphnia and at 1" can take brine shrimp and bloodworms. That is how I do it at least, should be an interesting topic.
Hey CD. You replied to a thread of mine about my losing fry. You asked if i have thought about artificaly hatching /raising them. I saw this thread and as we speak I am trying a method I used to hatch some ram eggs because they were lousy parents. This is the link I got the method from http://www.aquatic-hobbyist.com/profiles/breeding/bluerambreeding.html This worked very well for me and I am trying it on my A.borellii spawn I have about 100 eggs developing now. They are in their first 12 hrs so far and seem to be fertile no fungus yet. I have them pot and all except parents in a 1 qt jar in parent tank. I am using ozarka water and airation. I think this will work I can not see any reason as to why it shouldn't. Sincerely Curtis
 Most excelant. Seems to be same premis. They use m.Blue for anti fungal I prefer the 3% hydrogen peroxcide since it conferts to water and it works Quite well for me that is. Thanks for link Pics tell story much better.LOL Sincerely Curtis
