Are these water parameters good?

Hi there

I have recently moved to a new area and water readings are as follows:
pH = 7.6
KH = 80 ppm
GH = 160 ppm

Would this be good enough for my dwarfs? I have some Ramirezi as well as Pelvicachromis roloffi, Pelv. sacrimontis, Pelv. subocellatus. I have other fish with them but these are the ones I am mainly concerned about. They are on different tanks by the way.

You will want the water a bit softer to breed. Keeping the fish should not be a problem. You reported the KH in ppm... any idea how that converts to degrees of hardness?

KH of 4 is not too bad. You should be able to reduce the pH effectively with peat. Either age teh water with peat or place a small box filter with peat in the tank. If you have an RO, or access to RO water, diluting your tap about 3:1 (RO:tap) would give you parameters good for breeding... especially if you also used the peat. Avoid chemical pH reducers as they tend to increase the conductivity.
