ether one. I am thinking about buying one of them,

I do not have one of those, but I do not like the in-tank artemia hatcheries. What happens to the empty shells? What about the unhatched cysts... any chance of them getting into the tank? If the aquarium is small, and if TDS matters, is there any way to ensure that the salt water in the hatchery does not get into the aquarium water?

not sure, but 1000 is supposed to be able to be out side the tank

I've been using the same 2-liter soda bottles for 10+ years: simple, effective, no chance of introducing salt/shells to aquariums, and really really cheap. Just me, I guess.
