A. cacatoides also gets my vote. I sold a lot of the red variants while working in aquatics, but I always thought the wild types are far more beautiful.

Yes, a nice male form of A. cacatuoides, What hobbyists call 'A, cacatuoides' is actually a superspecies composed of many different but similar looking species.
