This is one of 8 junior tetra i've had for 3 1/2 months and only this one had something weird on its fins - I can't tell when it started but it isn't on the body or body mass just the petral fins which is weird:
My first instinct was it was that contagious stuff and i should catch him and put him down but i presume if it is contagious it is already in the water column - also while i've had tumour and similar on body mass this only seems to be on the fin. I suppose it could just be some weird deformity or damage from when he was very young and i just didn't noticed before but i have my doubts - the aquarium is approx 100 gallons with 6 to 8 of these junior tetra, some cardinals - maybe 15 or 20 some a. norbert (4 males and a female?) and 4 wavarni - oh and some 3 year old otto not sure how many otto.
