Well finally after moving this year my A. tucurui have spawned again. There are about 40 eggs laid inside of a flower pot. Now I just have to wait to see if they are fertile. This is a different male then from before, I lost the original male in the move. He is about 2 inches+ and the female is about 1.5 inches. I had a hard time getting viable fry early on but this soon was changed to every egg hatching just before moving (figures doesn't it?). I am hoping to maintain this species with this new spawn. Which brings me to the question, does anyone else maintain this species on the forum? I would certainly be interested in trading some fry in the future. I am on F-3's right now so future inbreeding could be problematic (although I will obviously cull any deformed fry).
