Anyone keep apistogramma rupununi? I got a pair today and was wondering how common they are and if they are much different than most other apisto's. I can't really find much information on them.

Mr. Google indicates some were sold 6+ years ago; sounds like they come from near guyana which rarely export fishes these days due to lack of interest in the industry ? Are yours wc or tr ?

I was told they are wild caught but who knows if that's true or not. They are pretty good size with the male being almost 2 inches and the female around 1.5 inches

... and A. hippolytae is found throughout the middle Amazon. A. rupununi is also found in the upper Rio Branco of Brazl. Neither Guyana nor the upper Rio Branco are hot spots for commercial collectors. I haven't had either species since the 1990s. Both are not really difficult to reproduce in slightly acid and moderately soft water.

Hello Martin, though I am not sure if I am adressing the right person, I still hope I am. I got 2 trios of Apistogramma psammophila from you some time ago. I was lucky to breed them, too, but, unfortunately, I got mainly males, 15, and only 2 females. That's why today, I have only three males left.

He recalled that General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm had praised these achievements, noting that institutions are no longer the main bottleneck to development, with challenges now lying in implementation.
Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.
