Apistogramma macmasteri eggs

Hi apisto fans,

Since a month I have added a male apisto macmasteri to my aquarium which already had 2 females in it.

Are these possibly eggs? If so they are layed on the root ball of a red tiger lotus plant.

Would love to hear from you guys.

Jep, eggs. But going by the colour I think they're not fertilized.

What colour do they look like fertilized? Its hard to take a good picture but the eggs are pink

Thanks for the clarification. Then they can be fertile. Dead and blind eggs are white.

Even white eggs can be fertile. It really depends on what is fed to the adults. White and fuzzy eggs, yes infertile.
