I Originally up untill yesterday had a trio of WC Apistogramma cacatouides in a breeding setup I've kept them like this for 3+ months with no problems up untill yesterday night when the female circled on the left and the male began harrassing the female circled on the right to the point of exhaustion. both females spawned at very similar times and where doing fine. untill she died of her wounds all her fry are now being guarded by the male and the other female tends to come over every now and then but concentrates more on her own. I can't see them surviving much longer to be honest! I found this very strange being new to Apistogrammas has anyone else experienced anything like this before?

My male chases away the female and takes over the broodcare aswell. IMO the tank needs more cover for subdominant fish.

Btw, the fish look great.
