Hi all,

I picked up a pair of the above. They both look like a female to me but i am hoping someone can tell me otherwise. There are 2 separate pictures of the 2 fish and 1 picture with both of them. Do young males not color up until a certain time or was I sold 2 females.

Thanks.

I think that the fish without the black on its first few dorsal rays and less black on the ventral fins may be a male. Small males are very similar to females.

Thanks for the replies. I will try get better pictures tomorrow, I had to separate them as one kept attacking the other and noticed one had her caudal fin nipped. I am totally lost on whether these 2 are male or female!
