hey there all! I’ve been raising my Apistogramma cockatoo for about 6 months now and man am I proud of this guy! There’s something about these fish I just love! It’s funny when I talk about fish people get caught off guard! I’m a bigger guy in the military with tattoos and ride dirt bikes and drive a big truck and I LOVE the hobby lol but anyways I’m excited to be apart of the group, I just introduced 2 females to my Boy, Earl, When I first put them in to acclimate not even seconds later he’s blowing up and flaring up and turning that beautiful green/blue in his face, dancing around. The girls are juveniles but one seems to be flirting with the idea, my dithers are 5 glow light danios, they do well and no they aren’t the GMO glofish, it’s an actual species, also there are 2 mino feeder fish in there too (we call them the survivors, use to be the lone survivor but another one ended up surviving) I put a bunch of ghost shrimp in there knowing some would be eaten but a good amount have survived and my tank is more clear than it has ever been, and finally my beautiful longfin albino bristle nose (may have to come out due to the possibility of him eating eggs) but that’s it. I love this tank and am so happy with how it’s turned out. Let me know what you guys think in later posts! Thanks for reading!

Apistodan, out

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
