Apisto for 20g long

I had a male and female apisto in my 20g long, a while ago my male died leaving me with just a female so I am wanting to restock, the tank is heavily planted so am I able to have two males and 4 females comprising of two different species in a tank of this size please?

probably any apisto is ok for a 20L. if you are going to keep the current female in the tank you should try to get others (1m 1 or 2 f) of the same species. If you don't want to breed them then get species that are different than your currenti so they won't interbreed and hopefully will get along. Mike and others can chime in but normally i would keep no more than 5 juvies and 2- 3 adults in a 20L.

OK thanks....I don't have any interest in breeding them so I'll go for two males and 3 females to make 6 total....two different species for more color....

Sounds like a lot of apistos for a 20L. You might not be interested in them breeding, but they are!
