In all my breeding tanks i use artificial grasses and java moss as the reduced light levels suited to breeding Apistos are not bright enough for most plants.
I know there are plants that can be grown in reduced light levels but i really cant be bothered with them in my breeding set ups.
Now if it were a show tank that would be a different matter.

No i havnt any closer pics,camera not really up to it....As i said these pics really do not do the fish justice as they do not really show the true colouration and form.

Picked these up on recent trip into Holland. Had to order them in from German breeder.
Only got 1 pair as they were rather expensive.
