Apisto cave size?

I’m beginning to hardscape a new aquarium for an apisto cacatuoides pair. I prefer a natural look, so I’m creating my own caves. Does this cave look large enough on inside? First photo is from top. Second photo is the front.

P.S. I will be filling in the gaps so that there is just a small opening for the female to guard.

Front opening is larger than necessary. It only needs to be large enough for the female to slide in on her side.
