i have a pair of triple reds (trio originally) pair formed and the killed the other female.
the first 3x they bred i left mom and dad in and within 2 weeks male ate/killed all fry.
the 4x they bred i removed the male and with in a week or so the fry dwindled to nothing
this was all in a 30 gallon, tons of moss but a little difficult to feed.
I moved them into a 10 gallon and they are set to breed. Male will be removed, should the female be removed or with the smaller set up and an easier time getting the food to the fry will it be ok to leave her in the tank.
thanks
