Hello,

from what I've read and heard people say, the most important thing for this species is very soft acidic water, about ph5 and hardness of 0-4 . Other than that, the majority of opinion on them is that they aren't that difficult to spawn at all. best of luck and post pictures please!!! cheers. john

i did. Breeding Breitbinden follows the typical apisto
breeding pattern and method: Acidic water (pH 5-6), enough
hiding space as the male and female fish of this species
are both strong... putting some peat moss and adding some
blackish water can help a lot
