What are the most suitable substrates to use in Apisto breeding tanks?
I have been using 1/8" pea gravel but it doesnt seem to be inert as my peat filtered RO ,PH:5.5,GH:2,KH:2,after buffering,shoots back up to approx 7PH.
Do I really need a substrate?
Any advice would be appreciated,Thanks,
