Hi everybody. I'm an aquarist who just last September got into planted aquariums. Always wanted to keep apistos but never had the time. The planted tank phase I'm going thru next is the perfect opportunity, don't you think! I currently have cacautoides, agassizi, borelli and trifasciata in my tanks.

I won't lie to ya, paradise has its privledges but there's a down side too! Being 2000 miles from the west coast makes getting supplies and fish more costly and drives up prices at our lfs. On top of that, state depart of agriculture has strict guidelines and additional costs (import permits) that makes the hobby more difficult. That's the trade off for not needing tank heaters!

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
