Adding female Agassizi to an existing pair?

Has anyone had experience adding female(s) to an existing pair of Apistogramma Agassizii? I have an established pair in a mature tank which I don't think are going to end up as a breeding pair and I would like to consider the possibility of adding one or two females.

Your best bet is to remove the pair, rearrange the tank decor, and then add all three fish at the same time.
