Adding a Male Kribensis

I have two female Kribensis in a community tank. They have set themselves up in their own caves in diagonally opposite corners of the tank. They are very peaceful with each other and their tank mates. I’m thinking of adding a male and wonder if that will upset the peaceful balance of the tank. If there is only on male with two females will that be ok or will it cause tension and possibly the third wheel to get picked on?

Adding a male will almost assuredly upset the peace once he picks a breeding partner. Depending on size and lay-out of the tank, the 'third wheel' will be killed or at best live a miserable life.
