Just bought it yesterday. This fish was imported to Hong Kong from
Germany... it looks so cool to me ^.^

They are excellent fish. Not really a regular fish. I had a few pairs that I'd purchased from Dave Soares a year or so ago and they were great little guys. I only managed to get one spawn out of them but they can be a bit tricky. They laid plenty of times, but the female never took care of the eggs and once they got to hatching, the few that did hatch, they'd dissappear within a few days. I finally got a batch to last past fry when I moved the male out of the tank and left the mom to herself. Excellent pictures again Blueblue! cheers john

Thanks John. i myself have bred Mamore before, it is pretty similar to
Trifasciata. Maybe i am fortunate, the female Mamore in my case
is a very good mum, and she has taken very good care of the fry... ^_^

Hello Geroge, for my recent purchase of german fish,
i just bought them from a local fish vendor,
which imports bags of fish from Germany periodically.
The store's name is Aqua World (Hong Kong)... again,
as a hobbyist (NOT a merchant), i do not know much
details about the company in Germany
which exports fish to this store.

On the other hand, here is the URL of a german breeder/
trader given to me by Rolo. Please take a look:
