Hello everyone. Someone is offering A. ortmanni for sale, and I don't know much about these guys. I am curious about how desirable this species is and any comments on if they're pretty, challenging to breed, etc.

Although A. ortmanni has appeared in the hobby on rare occasions, most fish offered under this name turn out to be A. steindachneri. The true ortmanni requires soft & acid water. A. steindachneri is a much prettier fish & easier to keep and breed.
