Hi all. Just sharing a pic of my recent acquisition

He is stunning mate.

Pity the girls are so hard to come by.

Yeah, they're proving difficult to find. I do know someone who has a pair and they are spawning so it's just a matter of good husbandry and a lot of patience.

I am also waiting as I have 2 males.

i see. i just feel curious as his color is too "low profile" to me. You know, tank-bred hongsloi these days usually come from the german lines which are either very red or yellow...

Maybe his parents were wild caught, I'll try to find out.

The original pair were imported from Germany, so not wild caught.
