A Elisabethea

Hello.
This morning my female apisto alisabethea "Red" look very slim, aggressiv, yellow and with a black spot on her side, yesterday she had a more round belly
I hope she have a lot of eggs in her cave...

sounds like good news. These are beautiful fish that seem to be fairly rare in the hobby so best of luck.

Hello again apisto keepers, today is a god apisto day for me...finaly my Elisabethea has spawn. I`m looking at +50 young apistos...Its a good apisto day today 8). I will post som pic later, on my profil...

Yes, they are also my favorit apisto.. i have 2 pairs in breeding tanks, 1 pair with spawn

Hello again.

Here 1 week later the fry is still a live
I`m feeding them live artemia and micro-vorms.
After 2 days the belly was showing.

I´m changing 20 Liters of water every 4 dayes, the aquarium is 128L..

Hello, a little opdate.
My 5 weeks old spawn is doing well, and all eat good...there is about 50 juveniles.


Now today.
My other Elisabethea pair have given spawn...about +30 juveniles, i must bee doing something right
