Hello, I'm grabbing some agassize to breed and in curious about m/f ratios and what not. I'm going to use 30 breeders and figured maybe it could house a couple breeding groups or pairs?
Anyone? So based in my reading they will eventually pair up so would keeping a few females per male help until they pair? And for a 30 breeder could I keep a couple pairs? Thanks
Is your 30 breeder 36x18x12"/90x45x30cm? If so you probably can get away with 2 males and 2 - 3 females. It really depends on how the tank is decorated. Expect 1 male to dominate the tank and breed with most (if not all) of the females.
Yes those dimension. Same as 40B just not as tall. That's why I asked. I assumed they formed monogamous pairs but if 1 male will spawn a few females I'll only shoot for 2-3 tops
