I imported the parients of those fish last summer. I think one of the tricks to breed them is to put them in a ten gal. tank, packed with java moss. I think they need to be forced to be close to each other. I have a group of them too. This fish gets about 6 in. long, so you might have to...
Well I was supposed to be getting two boxes of Crenicichla notophthalmus in this week from Brazil. But, for some reason they are not coming. So they are probably coming your way. I was told if I didn't get them that they were going to Asia. You guys get all the cool stuff.

Sorry about the pics. My camera sucks. The fish in the photo is about 1.5 inches long. I do know that they were imported as agassizi from Manaus. Also the was some Apisto hippolytae in with them. And some others that look like young Pertensis. I am thinking A. gephyra.
