I will say that 3 distinct groups have formed out of mine, all three spread out across the tank

I thought you said they didn't like to clump up together but rather spread out and establish individual territories.
They are also in a tank with very little surface structure and that for only a short time and will disperse as soon as there are possible markers for territories. I would definitely add on some twigs and floaters. Then they will rise to the surface and not stay as low as they are right now.

They are in good shape, though. That was my main concern.

I will say this photo was taken not long after introducing so they were still adjusting
They do spend all their time in the very top 1/3 of the tank
and there is Salvinia, a large raft of riccia and also leucocephala that is currently growing

Hello Martin, though I am not sure if I am adressing the right person, I still hope I am. I got 2 trios of Apistogramma psammophila from you some time ago. I was lucky to breed them, too, but, unfortunately, I got mainly males, 15, and only 2 females. That's why today, I have only three males left.
Kind regards, Michael (Hagen-Hohenlimburg)
He recalled that General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President Tô Lâm had praised these achievements, noting that institutions are no longer the main bottleneck to development, with challenges now lying in implementation.
Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.
