WTB Pelvicachromis subocellatus 'Matadi'

Hello everyone!
This is a TOTAL stab in the dark, but I thought I'd try. Does anyone out there have any of these fish? I would like to obtain a colony of them. Last year, I had about five but because of a power outage, all but one female survived. I can't seem to find anyone who has these for sale so I wanted to post here in hopes that someone has some feedback. Right now, my female is in a 20 long and is showing that brilliant black, red, black coloration and from what I've read, it means she's ready to spawn so that's another driving force for me looking.

Were are you located? That will help a lot!
I can tell you wild subocellatus Moanda haven't been imported into the US for a few years now and wild Matadi haven't come in in 10+ years! Every once and a while tank strain Matadi will be imported from Europe but it's been a few years since I've seen them come over as well.

I'm located in the DFW, TX area. I obtained my colony last year and they were doing awesome but we got hit with a pretty bad power outage where I'm at and I lost a good number of my fish...very upsetting.

Yes, I agree that I've seen the 'Moanda' variant. I personally think the 'Matadi' has more vibrant colors.
