which apisto is easy to breed

I was just about to buy 2 females for my male agassizi, when I came home from a weekend trip to find him dead. I want to replace him with something different and give breeding a try. The tank is a 20 gal high. What specie would do well in this size tank.These are the different apistos available to me. Which would be my best bet for breeding. Looking for any and all suggestions. I'm still fairly new to this so any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

What are your water params (ph, gh, kh....)??
