i have had these fry for quite a while and they have colour and are sexable ( for the most part) id say that the males are about 1 inch with out the tail and that the females aare about 1inch with the tail ... here is some pictures

I don't think there is a "hard & fast" rule. To me juveniles look like miniature verisions of their mother, but don't have male features yet. They also can eat larger foods than fry can. Once males & females can be recognized, then they are young adults.
